About us

Learning that serves the community

Our purpose is to support you in gaining the knowledge, skills and practical experience to thrive, in your faith, your work and your service to others.

Who we are

A safe, inclusive and supportive place to learn

At Crescent Scholars Institute, our purpose is to help you gain meaningful, industry-relevant knowledge and skills in a learning environment that is safe, inclusive and supportive. We bring together rigorous Islamic scholarship and practical, life-ready training, guided by qualified Trainer/Assessors and grounded in genuine community need.

We were established to help meet a long-standing need: nationally recognised education pathways for the Australian Islamic community to deepen their understanding of Islamic theology and to serve their congregations with confidence and competence.

Your active participation and feedback are valued, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

We act on data and feedback from students, trainers and the community to make training better.
